We're on the road again, this time for 6 weeks. We're a few days into the trip and at Custer State Park right now. A huge beautiful Park, we'll have plenty of exploring within the park to do.

Yesterday was Mt Rushmore , Black hills, Needles highway and a stroll through Keystone. Have no pics on the tablet to post but if you click the link below to the dogs blog there are a few. When I boot up the lap top I can add a couple.

The 303 is behaving nicely.

This summer will be a nutty one. We just returned from a week on lake Mi. Camped just south of Charlevoix, MI at a rustic state park. Fishermans Island is a nice place to enjoy a few sunsets.

We decided to retire the 2003 F350 before it starts nickle and diming us as we take longer and longer road trips. It was pretty darned good to us and someone will get a well cared for truck .

We finished the trip up with 2 last stops, a few nights stop at Cumberland Gap NP. The CG there was nicer than I thought it would be with large sites and space in between. The area is nice but found the surrounding area doesn't have to much to do away from the park .

Followed up with a visit to the Red River Gorge area of the Daniel Boone National Forest in KY. We camped at a small state park in KY called Natural Bridge. Small campground with open sites on the small side. We barely ...

We're currently at the Bandy Creek CG in The Big South Fork National river and Rec area. Nice Forest Service CG with ele and water.
The area is scenic with a few waterfalls around.

The one sad thing about this area is the lack of dog rescues or even an animal shelter. Don't loose or expect to find a place for a stray in or near Oneida TN.
