  1. The Journey Continues! 5000 miles hit today

Well, we hit a couple of milestones today. We left Tucson on June 4th, so we've now been on the road for two months. We also crossed the 5000 mile mark today when we left my dad's place on the Maine coast. Yesterday we celebrated my dad's 85th birthday.

We're heading SW now towards Ohio to meet up with family for a wedding this weekend. The refrigerator in the 337 has been performing flawlessly since we had it fixed in Indiana. We've had a few "normal" issues on the road ...

  2. All Good Now!

After getting the refrigerator fixed in Indiana Monday, We headed to New York to see Niagara Falls. We camped in a little town called Randolph NY at Pope Haven CG (Very Nice BTW). We spent Wednesday on the Canadian side, and really had a good time. This morning, we headed east and we're staying in a CG in Southwick MA.

  3. Great Trip so Far, but diversion required.

We left Tucson on the 9th of June. We headed west into California for several days, then north to Oregon to visit family. From Salt Lake, we headed east into Wyoming, with the intention of heading north and up over the UP of Michigan towards New England. But unfortunately, our plans were waylaid by a significant failure with our Reflection.

The 337RLS has been remarkable, and ...

  4. Nice (but challenging) Time On The Road

Well, we have our shake down cruise completed, and discovered a few little problems that have mostly been resolved. So we headed out on our second trip to a country music festival about 75 miles from the house. It's five days of camping and country music with family and friends.

We arrived at the festival grounds in Florence Arizona last Wednesday at around 7am. After waiting in line and checking in at 9am, we were off to our assigned "camp site". The camping areas are ...

  5. Blog Test

Our new 337 RLS Reflection is due to hit the dealer's lot tomorrow. We are excited to trade in our 2007 Keystone Cougar for this new Grand Design fifth wheel. Our Keystone product could have been a thesis on poor quality. We had multiple system break downs nearly every time we hit the road. After we purchased it, it spent the first nine weeks getting major repairs. The number one reason we selected the new Reflection fifth wheel is Grand Design's reputation for quality.
