As many of you might know, we were having some pretty serious problems with our 337. Last February, we worked with GD to get it back to the factory at their expense and get all the issues resolved. One of the biggest was the damage that the cleaning crew at the dealership did while prepping the rig for delivery. They got ink from a leaking pen on the wallpaper. The dealer didn't have the skill to repair it, so GD took care of it along with a litany of warranty issues.

In May, we took an eight week, 6000 mile journey to see several national parks. We visited the following parks: Capital Reef, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier, and Rocky Mountain NPs. They were wonderful, but very crowded. But we did meet several other Grand Design owners, and have now become friends with some of them.

During our trip, our 5 month old puppy got sick and we had to have her admitted to a veterinary hospital in Wyoming. They determined that she had a severe infection from her spaying operation. A big dose of antibiotics and a few days in the doggie hospital and she's as good as new. That was an expensive visit.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary in Las Vegas in June. We stayed at the Clark County Shooting Facility RV park. Full hookups for $20 per night and we had a wonderful view of the city lights from the park.

We came home in late July, and started to remodel our guest bathroom. We're well along the way on this project, but we'll be putting it on hold for a few weeks while we hit the road again. We're heading to the Flagstaff Arizona area. The temps are supposed to be in the 70s with lows in the 40s! It will sure beat these 100+ days in Tucson. We'll be spending about three weeks deer hunting (archery). We'd love to go to the rally, but I'm hooked on our annual hunting trips.

We still love our Grand Design unit, but we're a little frustrated that they continue to have ongoing issues with items such as greasy brakes, etc. Hopefully, they will get these things resolved and continue with their philosophy of uncomprimising customer service.

I'll try to keep the blog more up to date in the future! LOL.
