We had a lot of fun in Cody Wyoming, spent most of it in the Buffalo Bill museum, what a great exhibit. ? We also drove to the Buffalo Bill dam and reservoir. Never did catch up to the other family with the Reflection, but did see them driving thru Yellowstone. Last day in Cody we did the Chuck Wagon dinner and Western Music Show followed by a great rodeo. The Arches and Canyonlands were amazing. I think I went into sensory overload, there was so much to see. We did stop at Dead Horse State Park also, not as large but just as amazing. We left Moab and headed east towards Colorado. We did make a stop in Fruita and picked up some peaches as wrp75_CO suggested. Day 4, We got the truck back as promised and headed out for Utah on Tuesday, the wife check on Zion Park and found out that we could not drive our own vehicle thru the park, we would have to take their tour, so the dog would have to stay behind. That was not going to happen so we passed on that. My wife also read about Brice Canyon and thought she may not survive it because she is terrified of heights. Well we are in the 3rd day of our 30 day trek. We have had terrible luck with WiFi so I'm a little behind. Let's start off with day 1, We left Lodi Ca. for Barstow, drove approx 376 miles and arrived at Shady Lane RV Park off Hwy 15 in Barstow. It is a nice little park and probably was the only trees in a 50 mile radius. would recommend if you are traveling thru that area, it's very quite and shady as the name implies.
