My Safe-T-Alert Intertek 45-741 in the main cabin sounded a shrill alarm in the middle of the night. I had to unscrew the alarm from the wall and cut the ground wire to shut it off. It was almost 4 years old. My Gas Leak Detector did not find gas. So I replaced the alarm with model 35-741-BL. First time ever using Ideal In-Sure Lever Wire Connectors - No more wire nuts for me. Just insert the wire and close the lever. Solid, safe connection. The BRK Carbon Monoxide Alarm on the bedroom ceiling has a 10 year life.
