Well we really enjoyed the rally, but appreciate the time now to rest a bit. We're in Decorah, Iowa at present...home to the Decorah eagles for those that are aware of their celebrity status. We are unfortunately leaving on Tuesday for Ely, Minn and won't have sufficient time to explore the area, but have definite plans to return here. The area really caters to bikers...no, not the noisy kind!

I've been following the Decorah eagles for several years. Hope you get to see the eaglet that is still there. It will be interesting to see what nest they return to next year. Have fun!

We haven't seen the eaglet thus far...been checking out the mulch pile too. The photo I posted was the old nest...perhaps the new one is just for guests!
