The only way to prevent such sticking is to have a fabric material that can breathe. Unfortunantly GD does not offer this option.
They are standard fit whether you go OEM or other. Haven't had issues with any OEM jacks so far though.
I removed the plastic in two recent RV's and it just takes a tug starting from the edge. The plastic gives way before the threads on the material.
I would seriously consider a LFP battery if you plan to invest in any new batteries. You can go with cheaper versions such as Li Time, spend a bit more
