Regardless of the solar, go lithium. You get so much more usable capacity in a smaller lighter package. I did. You may need to update other parts
I have two of them (2 doors). One of them failed and I replaced just the shade part with a generic off Amazon. Works just as good as Lippert's.
So, the nursery guy was delivering a couple of things and he backed into the power tongue jack. The impact broke the housing and one of the switches.
