Biography:

We’re getting ready for full-timing when I retire in a few years. We sold our house in 2018 and everything that won’t fit into our RV to figure out what type and size RV we think we want. After a year of living in a 36’ class A and constantly looking at and reading about RVs, we’ve gone from leaning towards a class A w/ toad, to a super C w/ toad, to 3 slide truck bed camper, to the Grand Design Momentum 376TH that we finally purchased.
Our concern was that we want to eventually do a lot of boondocking, have a 4WD vehicle to explore 4WD only roads, and also haul a road bike. I know my 2019 GMC 3500HD 4WD long-bed crew cab won’t be able to explore (or fit in) places a Jeep will, but we feel the comfort and space of a 5th wheel is a good trade-off.
