Hi Keith, I've had the TorkLift steps on two different 5th wheels, probably a couple dozen different camp sites, never encountered a situation where I couldn't adjust the steps for level and reasonably consistent rise for first step or last. On my 2017 303RLS, it was concerning that the 4-step model ... how can I best describe it ... is already in the "highest" position (feet retracted and upper step in setting closest to door/threshold). The concern in this situation is if a concrete pad next to the trailer, is "higher" than the surface the trailer is parked on, there is the potential that the steps would not deploy far enough to allow them to be level. Hope I described that well enough! So far, I've not encountered that though.

Bottom line, I've always been able to deploy them level and both my wife and I really like the stability they offer. To us, they have been well worth the cost.

    Hope this helps!
