What did you do to your Grand Design today?

Yes - I thought that was a Gen-1, but what do I know???? I guess somewhere along the way they changed the valve type/location. I see a lot of folks complaining about leaks with the valve you have but I have no personal experience with it. Now they have a Gen-3 hitch and the air fill is on the top.

Anyhow - it looks like you could add the T without having to use an extension hose to the bag like I did.

Well, I figure I got a mutt. It was made in 2021 so they were probably using up supplies that they had. When I looked at Big Truck RV's comparison of Gen1 and Gen2, I have everything else that was put in the Gen2. Thanks for confirming. I want to put the T in and TPMS - I'm still using Tire Linc but have extra sensors.

I converted the motorcycle rack I built to carry the 2 Ebikes we bought.
I can switch out the ramps to either carry the bikes or the motorcycle.

That's similar to what I want to do. Did you slide smaller sq. tubing into the 2" sq. tubing that's welded to the frame? Any closer up pictures you can share would be appreciated.

I bought these 2" receivers from harbor freight and used ubolts to bolt them to the hitch. The tubing is 2" square by 1/4" thick. When I carry the motorcycle I use 3 tubes, 1 in the center and the 2 outside ones.

Replaced the insight camera that came on the trailer with a Haloview Byte Tango 1080P. Did a short trip and it worked great. The booster they sell for the GM trucks using the running lights for power worked perfectly. I did fill the old holes with Lexel sealant but might put some screws back in for looks.

The insight works with your phone unless you buy the monitor separately. I could not get it to work properly in the truck and really did not want to use my phone as a monitor anyway. I have used the Haloview on my other trailers and really liked it. For not much more than the price of the optional monitor to go with the factory insight camera I got the Haloview with 7" monitor, power booster cable for the GM truck and a rear view mirror adapter. It has a speaker for your spotter to communicate with you when backing and night vision capability as well.

I have the Furrion and 7” screen that I took off our TT. I think I will look into installing that on the Reflection come April. I agree that I don’t want my phone tied up as a monitor.
