What are you doing in the kitchen sink that will fill up 32 gallons in 2 days?

This is our first RV. My wife and I use very little in the way of paper and plastic so we do dishes and pots and pans like we do at home so being hooked up to shore water I didn't pay much attention to holding tank size until my wife told me that the kitchen sink had standing water. When I opened the dump valve it went down. So based on that experience I thought it helpful to know the sizes so we could make adjustment. I had no intent to make this a major deal, I would still make the same purchase again, we are very pleased with our Reflection and all the support and help we get from Janice and the other folks at GD as well as this forum.

I think it would have to be monitored when not hooked up to sewer, just like the bathroom tank.

You need to conserve and be aware of how much you use if you don't want to haul it away.

If we don't have sewer hook ups, we are very cautious as to how much water is put down the drains, "Navy" showers, and limited dish washing to conserve the tanks.

As a family of 3-4, filling either tank in 2-3 days is a challenge when you are aware of what is going down the drain.

    Hi Barry and Marianne (@mandolin57),

Generally speaking, the washer drains into the large capacity shower tank. However, if you would like us to research and confirm this on your specific RV, please send me a private message (PM) with your 17-digit VIN. Thanks!

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice

No problem, after all we did choose the same unit and it has some great features. Unfortunately, the grey water tank situation came as an unpleasant surprise and if I am making an issue out of it, it's because I think it is when it comes to the type of RVing we do.

    Tank locations

    Dave
I am taking delivery of a 2015 Reflection 303 RLS tomorrow August 29th. Having had problems with tank sensors in each of my past 3 RV's (two used motorhomes and one new travel trailer) I am prepared this time to replace the sensors with Horst Miracle Probes if I am unsuccessful in keeping the sensors on this new unit working properly. I just spoke to GD this morning about the location of the tanks on the 303. I was told that they are located at the front of the unit starting around where the battery compartment is. There is one black tank and one gray tank, side by side, running parallel to the beams of the frame and then moving toward the rear of the unit, there is another gray tank immediately behind the first two.
