    Question Andersen hitch storage container?

Can anyone recommend a heavy duty storage container that I can store my Anderson hitch in when not in use? I was using the box it came in but it broke. I don't like to leave my hitch in the receiver when not towing for a variety of reasons so I'm looking for heavy duty container of some sort to store it in. Prefer plastic or really heavy duty cardboard. Don't want wood or metal. I have some plastic containers that would work but they are all taller than I need so wasted space and take up a lot of space in storage.

Check with local apolstery or awning folks. They can probably make you a canvas bag.

Are you looking to store it while on the road, away from home? I leave mine hooked up in the bed of the truck. I also have a small padlock that I keep on the rod that goes under the pin in the bed. We also have a locking bed cover that keeps it out of sight.

If you are look for at-home storage, I just hang mine on a couple of nails on my garage wall. It’s quite easy to just lift up and hang.

I believe that you may be correct. I didn’t notice that he had an Imagine and I’m not familiar with that line. Thanks.

Gary then check out Big5, Walmart or any other sporting goods store for duffel bags that might work. They come in all sizes and weight. I am sure you could find something to fit everything.

    Have a great week

Have you looked at the EzStorHitch?

You can store your hitch and bars and lock them in place on the trailer and buy the optional cover.

Not sure if that would work with an Andersen hitch. Totally different type of wdh, there is no spring bars.

One option might be a low profile plastic tub (5-6" tall) with plywood in the bottom.
