Glad it's working for you. I ordered mine last week, should have it this week. Only $10 for standard shipping!

Threading the lag bolts through was the most challenging part of the installation. I am still on home current, so I have only used the fan to test it. But man, it blows MUCH stronger. Used a torque wrench to re-tighten to 50-inch pounds.

Google RV airflow, see if your ac is listed, and order a matching airflow system.

I installed my RV Airflow today. As stated above, the hardest part was getting the rooftop unit aligned so the lag bolts would line up. Luckily, it's done from inside (it's raining today!). The airflow is much improved, can't evaluate the cooling yet as it's cool today. I also replaced the crappy filter with a much better one. Now I'm looking forward to the next 100 degree day for the real test!

I think the poster's point was that was too much to pay for a piece of polystyrene (shipping foam) not as in that's a lot to pay for shipping the foam.

I've been researching this mod some today. I have yet to find anyone that was disappointed.

Did you tuck the thermostat wire back into its original position ??

No, I did not. The new sensor is not long enough to poke through the filter anyway but it is not needed to do so since the A/C now works like it's supposed to.

Did you use a torque wrench to re-tighten your AC ?? Currently mine is still poked through. I will experiment with it in a few weeks we leave for a trip. We will be plugged into 50amp and in full sun.
