Since we full-time, now, I have a slimmed down socket set, a cordless impact wrench, cordless drills, cordless ratchet, cordless mini circular saw/angle grinder, cordless caulk gun, and cordless wet vac(all Kobalt 24V tools), open end ratcheting boxed end wrenches, two grease guns (one for Lucas Oil red-n-tacky and one for Lucas Oil green high temp; Red-n-tacky for the wet bolts and green high temp for the trailer wheel bearings), rubber mallet, cordless Dremel, 2' level, 4 each of Alpha self leveling sealant and regular sealant (because I got both 4 packs for something like $20.00 each), two tubes of Lexel Clear Silicone Caulk, the Wash Wax All kit, what is left of the 50' roll of 6" wide Eternabond, and various other lubes.
Everything is split between the truck and the coach. It's a lot, but since I do my own maintenance on the rig, it makes my life easier. Eventually, this will be slimmed down even further.Mark & Mary. Full-timing across the USA (and Canada)!

I bring tools and parts for emergencies...the maintenance waits till after the trip. When I get home it looks rode hard and put away wet.

Don’t forget the spare parts. Like wheel bearings, seals, some pipe fittings and some PEX pipe, fuses, bulbs, various screws and pop rivets, hose gaskets, zip ties, gorilla tape, loctite, spare air admittance valves, and an assortment of hammers.

I culled my tools down since we aren't full time - change a tire stuff, electrical kit. No spare parts either except for screws, fuses, sealants, tapes, multi-meters. Definitely not a hammer - that will surely get me in trouble.

We rely heavily on thorough annual maintenance. Our spare parts includes a Dinosaur board, water heater thermal cutoff kit and a toilet valve kit. When the water pump started making noise, I added a spare pump to the tool box. It took a year for it to finally die.

I always carried a lot of tools... Owning the Solitude, I carry a lot more and spare parts... I also have a coach with a very high cargo capacity and a truck with plenty of payload though. For a long trip, bring the grease and hit them! Don't have to bring the DeWalt unless you want to. A nice pistol grip gun and a high-end coupler works great. Make a simple PVC pipe holder for it and no mess! Truth be told, I carry it not just for wet bolts, but it's important to have grease if a wheel seal or bearing goes south. Been there, done that. I use Red n Tacky for both wheel bearings and wet bolts so easy. If you have a heavy equipment dealer nearby, you can get one of these, which are excellent, for $10:

I recommend having spare parts for the running gear for long trips! Better to have it than to be stranded and not able to get it!Rob & Nikki + Cloverfield
