If you want to have fun watching crazy people drive way too fast just spend sometime in I15 south of Salt Lake City, Utah (Actually at Nephi, UT is where it starts) the speed limit goes up to 80. I tow a lot in this area and I see lots of 5ER Toy Haulers going 85+. It is absolute insane. I try and keep my speed between 65-70 to save a little fuel but sometimes I end up pushing 75 to pass someone or descending some of the passes. The good part is the roads are nice and in most cases you can see for miles. Between Salt Lake and Moab it no fun to tow either. Fridays going south and Sundays going North. Be Safe out there!

We haven't taken delivery of our TT but it's small (26'10" overall) and we have a large truck (2014 Ram 3500 6.7 single wheel). I occasionally haul equipment and I've never found a reason to run over 70 pulling something heavy...probably won't start now.

I typically stay in the right lane and don't tow faster than 65 mph. Having said that, I'll go as fast as 70 mph when passing someone. We usually don't tow any further than 300 miles or 3 or 4 hours in a day. RVing is supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing, right? Unfortunately for me, towing is a necessary evil when RVing and is by itself, stressful enough. So, why compound the stress by speeding? If you think about it, it would only to shave off 15-20 minutes from our typical drive. To me it's just not worth the risk.

I cruise at 63-65. Might go up to 70 to overtake. No reason to hurry.

62-63 for me. I'm retired and on vacation. There's no rush.
