Nothing over 65 mph PERIOD. And that is based on road and weather conditions. 70+ is a perfect storm for a serious accident which could impact not just you but others as well. Let the rat race pass you by!

60-65 is a comfortable speed especially with all the people around me trying to get places in a hurry. Stick the right lane and enjoy the ride.

The vast majority of trailers are equipped with tires at a speed rating of 75MPH. I liken running at that speed for more than a few seconds to running a sports car with V rated tires at 149MPH for a long period of time. Destined to fail over time for sure.

Wide open freeways in Texas and Arizona we both felt comfortable at 65-68. In the east it was more like 62-68 MPH.

I will generally run 5 under with a max of 65. I got no where to go and all day to get there.

We try to maintain 65 on the interstates or divided highways. That speed feels comfortable to me given our tow vehicle and trailer. When we plan a long trip, we calculate the total miles to travel each day divided by 50 to determine driving time. This allows time for breaks along the way.

I go 60 to 63. Occasionally to pass I may hit 75, but never over that.
