David, the jack connects to the transmitter. I glued mine to my roof, and I lay the antenna down for a horizontal wave. It works pretty well, here is what I used

Been looking at Tadi brothers camera system and will likely get that soon and install myself.
    Hi @DMandSC,

Thanks for updating your VIN! Units off-line beginning in September included a pre-wired Furrion bezel. (The aftermarket Furrion camera snapped into the bezel.) The Furrion works as a back up camera only, and not an observation camera while traveling. Most customers purchase their own "observation" camera and tap into the 12V power to the market lights if no bezel is present.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice

I don't see myself getting a rear view camera but I was curious.
x2 for the question. Mine has the housing and I was told it was pre-wired.

Furrion shows two cameras on their site; one is $400 and labelled as backup camera, other is $500 and I think it MAY be used while driving (not sure though). Doing the google I don't see very good reviews of the Furrion cameras .

I think the wires are just for 12V power (likely taken off the clearance lights since my understanding is the camera only works when lights are on)

I installed the Furrion unit on my 317RST. On the road, the picture drops out periodically but always comes back after a few seconds. Is sure is nice to be able to see what is behind us but it would be nicer if we didn't get the signal drop-outs.

    Hi Mike & Peggy (@LA5ver),

The Furrion camera is not designed for "in motion." It is designed as a back up camera.

    From the Furrion Website:

Model FOS48TA-BL "High Speed Observation and Backup System"

... I wanna see somebody back their trailer up at 60 miles an hour !!

Maybe Furrion needs to comment on this.
