Where to mount new 2 Filter Water Filter system

I just purchased a new Beech Lane External RV Dual Water Filter System from Amazon and I added quick connects to both ends. I'm not sure where to mount it. I thought about mounting it inside the pass through on the side next to the nautilus P1 but then thought if it develops a leak, then I have a mess and what if I don't notice it for a while. Then I thought about putting two screws on the outside skirting and just hang it there so if a leak develops, it's not going to be a problem but It won't look as nice being exposed and hanging from the camper. If you were installing a water filter system, where would you mount yours?

I mounted mine inside the passthrough. I have a post on here about it. I'll see if I can find it and link it.

Moonshadow, I realize you've only had yours installed for a couple of months but you haven't had any leaks and like the filters so far?

Correct. Put a bin under it the first time you use it. I had to tighten a couple of connections and replace a grommet or two, but it's now leak free and works great!

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. It was so much less money than the Clearsource offerings!

Yup. As long as you understand the principles behind filtration, and the different types of filters, you usually can DIY one that is as good as the commercial ones.

I have a 3 filter system that's mounted in my pass through storage. Get a large trash bag and slip it up and around it. Any drips get caught in the trash bag. You can feel at the bottom of the trash bag from time to time just to check for any leaks.

Wow! I love the idea of the plexiglass panel so you can see if anything has gone wrong behind the P1 panel!
