Pretty much how the truck would be if we were hooked up ready to go. The scale read Steer Axel 5000, Drive Axel 3640 Total Axel 8640. I have a GCVWR of 11,350. My rear axel is rated for 6600 and my tires are rated for 3750 each. With all that in mind, to stay within legal limits can I have a pin weight of 2710 (11350-8640) or a pin weight of 2960 (6600-3640)?
You can only have a pin weight of 2710 before you exceed the GVWR. You cannot exceed any ratings so the 2960 would put you over GVWR. If it were me though as long as I am under the axle and tire ratings I am happy to go, but that is just me.

Is that rating for your truck GCVWR or GVWR?

I corrected my post as the OP confirmed that this was GVWR.
