Hey Ron,
I have a 310 GKR and a Weber Q (modified with no regulator). I have disconnected the quick disconnect and connected the grill by the fridge also, but it's inconvenient being on the "wrong side" of the trailer.
From Amazon I bought a "DOZYANT 6 Feet Quick Connect Propane Hose with Regulator", and a "SHINESTAR Propane Splitter, Propane Tank Y Splitter Adapter with Valves." I connected it to the bottle on the entry-door side of the trailer. I set up a table for the grill, and it's nice and convenient being on the correct side of the trailer by the door.

I completed this project on my 2016 27RL last fall. I installed a Tee at the front of the Black pipe (Under the drivers side propane tank) and ran Black pipe across behind the Landing legs. Added a quick connect on the Passengers side.
