    Water Pressure

By chance do these trailers, mine's a Reflection, come with built in water pressure regulators? I didn't read anything about one.

I ask because we were camping with hookups this week and I always use a pressure regulator on the campground spigot and our water pressure was pretty bad. It wasn't enough to even use the spray feature on the kitchen faucet. Last week we were dry camping and it seemed to me the pressure was noticeably better with the water pump. So I wondered if I'm reducing the shore water pressure too much, having mine if the trailer already has one?

    Thanks for your input.

    Hi Poppy,

I have noticed the same thing at some campgrounds ! To the point where I took out my pressure regulator completely . . . but this didn't make much difference. I poked around behind the connection panel, but couldn't see anything that looked like a pressure regulator. My best guess is that this is severe restriction through the Kantleak valve for incoming city water.
Haven't gotten around to figuring out how I am going to solve this.

    Hi Gord,

As Poppy notes . . . pressure is better with the on board pump . . . which doesn't go through the Kantleak valve . . . thus my theory. The problem with the OE pump is that it is a cheap piece of equipment that is very crudely mounted. Incredibly noisy when operating. There are better alternatives that have been discussed elsewhere on this forum.

Water pressure in campgrounds can very quite a bit. If you're at the beginning of the line you better have a regulator, if at the end it may only be a trickle. It even depends on when you are using it. If it's when a lot of other people are using it also the pressure will be low. The kantleak system has worked very well for us and we are quite happy with it.

I now have to figure out the issue for my reflection 303. There is plenty of pressure at the source. I get pretty decent water in the toilet, but the water in the kitchen has gotten lower and lower and now has stopped all together. The hydrant we hook up to has plenty of water coming out of it, so it pretty much has to inside trailer somewhere.I get water coming out the hose well, but hook it up and nothing. Not looking forward to trying to figure out the jungle of water lines......

There is another thread on here discussing the water pressure at the kitchen sink. Some have replaced the kitchen sink faucet and noticed much improved water pressure. Drastic I know.....

Our 350M had that issue on our shakedown trip. The kitchen faucet was changed by the dealer and fixed the issue. They said there was a known problem!!
