    It’s not just the weight. Sure both can pull, but can they stop. Do you have the right payload capacity. Is the tranny the same. Brakes?

    Towing statistics mean zero when it cone to accident avoidance control of the RV does. Plenty of 1500 white knuckle stories on here

    I'm another that went from ma Ram 1500 to a Ram 2500 towing a 2600RB. Major league difference in stability and peace of mind.
    I'm using the receiver adapter and the 2 inch shank. I shimmed the adapter so there is zero play between the adapter and the truck's 2 1/2 inch receiver.
    After flipping the shank around and dropping the ball as low as it would go the ball is just about anClick image for larger version.
