Fun thread! Love looking at all the old pics. Here's our progression. We started with a great heavy old Eureka cabin tent and camped in that for way more years
    than we should have.
As far as tents went we felt like we had the best out there. When we find and scan an old pic or our tent I'll update the post.

We never did the regular "pop up" thing, after so many years in canvas we wanted nothing to do with anything that had to be set up at home if we packed up in the rain.
Then we found the Aliner... I fell in love with it as fast as we did with the Reflection. We spent 13 years in that great little A frame. A few years in the Wilderness (single slide) it
was good to us then we stumbled onto the Reflection and the rest is history.

It's not often but there are times I actually miss the little A for all the back in the woods spots it could easily go.

Great post and great pictures! Although it's tough to beat Dean's post....

We started with a 1996 Coleman Sun Valley popup, and I have some pictures that I took to sell it on Craig's list (sold in 10 hrs). Picture from Kiptopeke State Park just north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel in Virginia.

Our next was a 2008 Laredo 265RL, one slide. Picture is Moose River Campground, St Johnsbury VT where we had a great view out the back window.

We love the 2014 Reflection 303RLS. Picture is from our most recent trip Oct 30 at Pocahontas State Park near Richmond VA.

That is a pic I took last Summer in Gatlinburg. We were driving around downtown and made a wrong turn down a street where construction was going on at a motel.

Got my wife interested in getting back into camping with the '71 Land Cruiser and the rtt on the 1/4 ton jeep trailer. Kept her off the ground and she had her private changing area. Even have a portable shower for it. After setting up next to her brothers Tiffen motor coach on a cold rainy weekend she said it was time to move up and got the 18' TT. That lasted about 4 months and after a week going to Maine and back, hitting a few state parks with our daughter and grandson we realized we went too small and moved up to the 25' TT with one slide out. Took a look at the Reflection 5th wheel and that set things in motion again.

I was digging through some old photos today, and came across this gem. It is our first travel trailer. A 1988 Nomad by Skyline. It was 20 feet from the hitch to the rear bumper, and didn't have any slide outs. We used to camp with the two of us, a dog, and three teen-aged boys in it! Talk about cramped. For the first 15 years we were married, we would camp in tents. One morning we woke up to six inches of snow, and icicles hanging inside the tent. She told me that "this is my last camping trip EVER unless you get a camper". She held firm, so I bought this beauty at an RV show at Dodger stadium in California!

Many of us really liked this thread when Paul started it 1/2015. When Carol's father passed away last fall we reviewed most of our photo albums to get pictures for picture boards at the services. Carol's folks and we did many camping trips across the country and locally as well over 4 decades. There were many photos of these experiences which gave me an opportunity to take pictures of pictures of our previous campers and finally post them.

I think the first camper we bought in 82 (green 75, 1/2 ton with the 9' Excel P/U camper) was WAY over payload ! No payload stickers in those days. The original owners just inserted coil springs between the frame and leaf spring ubolts mounting plates. We did the same thing on the blue 76, 4X4 1/2 ton as the 2nd truck for that Excel.

Next were our used 84 Rockwood bought in 88 and then 90 Yellowstone (really deluxe) bought in 94. Then came our new 2004 Cougar 294.....a great camper. Lastly was our new 2004 Winnebago Itasca 31' Class C. Was one of the first Cs with a hydraulic couch/dinette slide......also a great camper. And in 2004, the 303 of which we really like even though we have had more issues to deal with. It is the awesome supportive GDRV team who has made the difference.

Thanks, for starting this thread, Paul ! Here are previous camper pictures. Had to do in two posts.

    Dan

Here are pics of the four campers that we have owned....the 1970 Appleby tent trailer is special to me as it was my grandfathers camper I grew up with. I recently restored it and my kids and their spouses are now camping in it 49 years after I first camped in it.
The Rockwood Pop up was next in line, and we made many memories with the kids when they were young.
The 2004 Jayco was our camper we recently sold before purchasing our GD Transcend 265 RLS in April of this year.
