I didn't like that I wanted to operate both the lights independently from each other. (Grand Design, YOU SHOULD look into doing this!!! ) So I made a change to the way the lights now operator right there.

This is just the accent lighting

This is just the puck recessed lights

This is the new switch I added. It was originally just one switch, so I purchased the two switch and added it in.

    Hey breeze rider,

As a "registered guest" I don't think you can post pictures.

I just did a few more mods.

One of the mods was in the bedroom. I didn't like that the two end table lights were hooked to only one switch and the two light above your head were on the independent switches. This proves impractical for the DW to stay up and read a book while I try to sleep as that light was blaring me in the eyes. So, what I did was run those row over head lights to the one switch, then took the two independent switches and put them to each end table light. Now this works better as it acts like a night stand light and it isn't so bright in the eyes while one of us try to sleep. This should be something Grand Design should be doing from factory.

Second, I decided to get me one of those Mor/Ryde 30/50 amp reels for in the basement area to make it easier to roll up the power cable. Well the place I wanted to put it, the incandescent light for the basement was in the way. I removed that light from the wall, took some LED waterproof light strip and ran it above the access door and added a switch to the wall to the right. Now I have a nice way to roll up my power cable and cleaner, cooler light in the storage area where all my hookups are.

Here is the reel I installed

This is the compartment with the lights on

This is the switch I added to the wall for those lights

Third, I decided to also put these LED light strip in the front generator compartment as well to get more light in there. This time though, I tied into my switch for my hookup lights so that I wouldn't forget that these lights were on.

In the garage, there was no place for my kid to put their clothes in. So I looked high and low and found a shelf that we can put fabric drawers in and that matches the interior. This is what I got so far. I'll take more pictures when the golf cart is out.

Here is one with the drawer in it.

I put these LED light strips on the inside of the door frame of the pantry. Works great, now instead of only seeing the top shelf, every shelf is lit up.
    Nice work, Stephen.

Yea I was going to be doing that same thing during one of my next mods. Grand Design actually started putting one of those incandescent lights in the pantry.

a couple of very simple ideas we have come up with are cup extenders for the recliners. It fits into your one cup holder and gives you 3 cup holders or pockets for glasses, TV changer, or whatever. We actually velcro our remote to the back of the TV when we travel, and have a beige piece of velcro on the wall by the recliner to hang it while sitting.

Another idea for the garage is an organizer or flat shoe holder behind the door from garage to living area. We primarily use the garage door as our entry, so dirty shoes come off there and this is a great place to store shoes, bungi cords, and misc.

Well it's been a while since I posted some upgrades to my unit. But finally I have time. So, one of the things I didn't like about my momentum was some of the placement of the light switches as you can tell in earlier post on this topic. Another one of those placements was the kitchen and pendent lights above the sink. Every time I wanted to turn the lights on in the kitchen, I would have to open the pantry door on the other side of the kitchen and turn the lights on, then close the door. So I finally decided to move those two switches.
so here is the wall I decided to put the switch, this will make it easy to turn the lights to the kitchen on while in the kitchen.

I also have had some blue LED light strips like what comes in our units that I wanted to put at the bottom of my stairs going to the bedroom. So I used one of the switches that use to turn on one of the kitchen lights to now turn on these newly added step lights to my 350M.

I think these came out so nice and it will help in the dark to go from the bedroom to the kitchen without tripping in the dark.
