Is that a McDonald's by the dump station? Seems fitting...

To the OP, I also carry a rubber "donut" that fits around the 90* sewer connection. That raises it up a bit and still makes a good seal. We're actually in a site like you describe right now and that's what I had to use. Haven't run into the need for that donut in quite a while.

Just a test to see if it works. Obviously I don't use this much. Living proof you can't teach old dogs new tricks.

Thank you. Staying at camp site with recessed connection, this is just what I need.

I carry one of these sewer hose "donuts" for those situations. I can stuff my Rhino sewer end into it and it holds quite well.
We have one exactly like that and it has never let us down... it gives a nice tight seal that stays in place.

So far; I haven't found a sewer connection that we haven't been able to use.

I kept 2 ankle weights ( weight strapped around ankle with velcro ) just for holding down the sewer hose connection when the threads or other problems connecting.

This one has saved me more than once....it is my go-to for any "below ground level" hookup....no clear plastic to watch the goodies flow, but I run a clear elbow or 45 degree connection coming off the RV and watch there.
