Maybe someone with a similar truck will chime in.... but no way you would want to tow with those pressures..... another dealer around...??

I am considering a Ram 3500 should I get the air ride or not??

    Thanks
I have a 2019 Ram 3500 Laramie srw cc sb 4x4 with the factory air suspension system. It has almost 18000 miles on it. About half of those miles are towing miles. The air ride when towing is great. It brings the truck up to level with out me having to do any thing. The air suspension also provides a comfortable ride when towing. When not towing, it rides much like a one ton truck with leaf springs (imagine that). It’s not a 3/4 ton truck with coil suspension. The ride, when not towing, I can live with. Would I get the automatic air suspension again? Yes I would.

What Silverbeard said. Air works with a load but does nothing to smooth the ride empty. I will get air again in my next Ram. My 2017 can drop the rear if I go into settings and put it in Transport mode. I like the new setup where you can press a button to lower the rear for hitch/unhitch.

Really like the RAM Factory air ride suspension on my 2020 3500 Laramie SRW Crew Cab. Didn’t have it on my last RAM but once having it, it just levels the truck out and makes for a better overall pulling experience in my opinion over not having it. Gives a feel of more confidence.
