Dead horse Point State Park built a new loop, Wingate Campground. Still no water or showers, just rest rooms. But with 50amp service we did ok with onboard water. We have stayed at several of the RV parks in Moab, it's getting really hard to get a reservation there, we used to like Arches View RV Park, but their rates went through the roof. Just north of them is the Willow Springs road, plenty of boondocking space. Also across the road from Arches View are two trail heads that have plenty of room for boondocking, it's a common practice.

Mountain View RV park in Monticello is a good alternative if all of Moab is booked. Another reasonable place is Shady Acres in Green River, UT. One advantage to Shady Acres is access to the San Rafael Swell area.

Coming south out of Yellowstone you may stay in Salt Lake City, we like the KOA in Salt Lake city, well run. The other campgrounds south of that are old and very tightly packed. Jordanelle State Park is a good stopover also.

Dead horse Point State Park is on my list, but I want to go when it is a little cooler and I have more time.
Thanks for the advice on SLC, we already booked a place in Ogden.
I'm not sure where you are headed but I know you talked about Zion.
Hwy 9 that runs thru Zion has a tunnel that is narrow and controlled when and how
you take a trailer thru there. You might want to stay on the East side and just drive the park.
I have gone thru there on my bike and car, but not pulling a trailer.
Hwy 12 East of Bryce is beautiful on a bike, I think you could pull the trailer on that, but check.

Highway 12 and 24 in Utah are beautiful, especially on a motorcycle. I don't think you could enjoy the scenery if towing. 12 goes up on a ridge that has a 1000+ ft drop off on both sides.

There are lots of RV parks. They do fill up. KEN
