I have always heard to NEVER use a torque wrench to Loosen the lug nuts.....possible damage to the torque wrench!

I’ve been warned that the drive up ramps should not be used with leaf springs. Can flip the bracket. I used to carry a large floor jack for my boat trailer but too large to haul on longer trips. So I’m back to purchasing a bottle jack..

Question is where to place it. Told not to do it on the axle as it is a hallow tube and can be damaged. Between the leaf spring Ubolts mentioned but it is still on the same hallow tube. The frame is 17” from the ground. Seems like a lot of blocks to set the jack on to get lift.

Would appreciate any feedback on where to place bottle jack
If the ramp works with your suspension, it is the best option. Try it and see.

But carry blocks and a bottle jack in case you need it. Two flats on the same side is not uncommon.

Don't you already have a bottle jack in your Ford? My Ford came with a 20 ton bottle jack located behind the rear seat on the passenger side of the truck.
