    Television reception fix

We have a 2014 Reflection 303 that has bounced down the road for maybe 25,000 miles. Our last two stops cable TV was very fuzzy but fine when we ran the cable through the window to the back of the TV. So we get to our park in Florida where we don't have cable (that was REALLY stupid move on my part during basketball season) and we only get a few channels. Other folks have great ota tv.

All fixed with a short cable from Walmart! Dave diagnosed it by running cable from bedroom connection on the amplifier to the tv. That was fine. He then tried from the splitter by the tv to the tv. By isolating cable runs, we found that it was the cable from the connection plate in the cabinet left of the TV to the TV. So glad it was a relatively easy fix.

Now if he can just find out what is putting out some noisy RF near our campsite, he can turn off TV and play ham radio.

If you want the best reception and don't need to use more than one TV, use a satellite connection. No splitters in those lines.

Yes of course, but in our case the bad cable was between the connection from cable/antenna or satellite to the TV. With the new cable we now have great reception.
