New Momentum Owner
Finalized a deal yesterday to trade our 07' Raptor in on a new Momentum 355! Picking it up Saturday.
We purchased the Raptor new and once we had the few little quirks worked out, its been a good trailer with no major problems. But I was getting the urge to trade and nearly did so this spring but just didn't find anything that said, "That's the one!!", so we kept looking. I had pretty well decided to switch to a Super C motorhome with an enclosed trailer. Last week I was at our local RV dealer looking for a Jayco Seneca when I noticed this very nice looking toyhauler that had just delivered the day before. Upon closer examination, it was evident that this unit was far better quality than our Raptor! I found the "That's the one!". Love the layout and really everything about it! The only thing I would like is our Raptor has the 14' garage that allows me to carry four ATV's in the back. But our oldest son is in college now so we only have two boys left in the house so we can make it work.
Anyway, I'll post a few pictures when we pick it up. Now to clean and rid everything out of the Raptor. Installed a ViaAir system that will needs removed and reinstalled in the Momentum.
I feel like a kid at Christmas! Can hardly wait til Saturday!!

Re: New Momentum Owner
Congrats. I can't wait to get my Momentum 385th. Saw the 355th at the Hershey show and loved it but I liked the 385th floor plan a little bit more. Happy Camping!!!!!

Re: New Momentum Owner
Couldn't wait. Picked it up Friday afternoon!!
Worked over the weekend getting everything transfered over and set up. The quality of this unit is obvious. MUCH better than our Raptor.
Planning on giving it a shakedown trip this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

Re: New Momentum Owner
Hello all,
My wife and I purchased a 2014 Momemtum 385TH yesterday at McClains in Fort Worth, and like some of you shared when we laid eyes on it and walked in it we knew it was "the one". We purchased a new 2009 Raptor 3812TS and have had great experiences and fond memories with our family and have not experienced any significant problems...so we feel blessed.
After months of research and looking at various toyhaulers to replace our Raptor we had settled on the 2014 Voltage 3990 and actually looked at the voltage again yesterday to confrim our decision to purchase one after we attended the RV show in Fort Worth last week. My wife and I did not see the Momentum at the show eventhough it was there, we just looked at each other and ask how the heck did that happen.....
Thank the Lord! on our way home from looking at the Voltage again, we passed by McClains RV and just to kill some time s we looked at what they had on their lot regarding toyhaulers. It was instant and obvious that we were about to make a mistake in our previous decision so after two hours of looking over the features and quality of the 385 and 355 we purchased the 385TH!
We are excited about taking delivery of our new coach probably next weekend, and the only item we added was slide covers we had them installed on our Raptor and found them to be a good addition. We are glad to find this forum and will stay in touch as we transition from our Raptor to making new memories in the comforts and quality of the Momentum.
Ken
