Re: New Momentum Owner
Freemak Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You are going to love the Momentum 385th. I have not been able to take it out and use it yet (live in the northeast) but have spent many hours inside the Momentum 385th parked at my house. When you finally take delivery of it get ready for all your friends and neighbors to want tours of the Momentum. I also was looking at other Toy Haulers until I found the Momentum and my wife and I were sold the second we saw it and found out about the quality of constuction. Also after speaking to many truck drivers we did not want triple axles.

Re: New Momentum Owner
Welcome to the forum we also are changing from a Raptor to a Momentum, it looks as if we will not be the last to do so!
As all the owners of the GD are saying it is just so much better RV than any other on the market after a looking at all on the market the Momentum has that edge we are looking for.
Matt please let us know how you and your wife get on on your firs trip, good and bad points you find!

Re: New Momentum Owner
Tony,
We have had a chance to take the Momentum out a few times now, despite the weather being downright crappy! I'm about wintered out!
We have had no real problems at all. Couple minor things, and I'm nitpicking here:
1. Ramp seems to have a slight warp to it. Standing inside the garage, the top corner doesn't quite seal tight and there is a small gap. Not sure how this can be adjusted.
2. The small blue accent lights (I call them the porn/stripper pole lights!) on either side of the bed have stopped working. I'm sure its just a loose wire somewhere on the slide.
3. I wish the beer fridge in the garage could be shut off, without shutting off the breaker. If you shut off the breaker, the kitchen fridge and TV is on this same breaker. If you look thru the small vents on the island, you can see a power switch on the back of the beer fridge. Think I'll add me a small on/off switch tucked under the counter or something like that.
Thats really about it. Very minor items.
Very pleased with the unit. Can hardly wait til it warms up a bit!
Matt

Re: New Momentum Owner
Hi Matt
That's great news we are flying over to the US on the 17th Feb to pick up our old Raptor then of to the dealer to do the changeover, cant wait!
hope you can get your few bugs sorted one would hope not to have things like that to start with on a unit of this cost but if the dealer can fix them for you then its not to bad.
We are off to Florida for the first trip so it will be a good place to find out any problems and back to the dealer if we have to who is in KY. But is going to be lot better than the Raptor!
Good RVing

Thats what I call the little fridge in the garage! I never run out of beer when camping!
Just would like to shut it off when the unit is plugged in there at the house.

Re: New Momentum Owner
One of my customers that bought the 355 Momentum told me that you can access the temp control and on/off switch for the beverage cooler through one of the kitchen drawers.
I think she said you pull the drawer out, and you can get to the controls on the back of the cooler.Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com
