Anyone tow with a lifted truck?

Looking at buying a 2014 303rls and I have a 2007.5 Chevy Duramax with a 6" lift. The trailer also comes with a B&W Companion slider hitch. Do you think I'm going to run into clearance issues due to lift height? Wondering if anyone else is towing with a lift. Also should I add airbags to my truck?

You will not be able to tow anywhere near level with that much lift.

You will have to look into lifting the 5th wheel to match the truck height.

Usually a lifted truck has softer rate springs, so you may need bags.

I would not tow a 5th wheel with that much lift.

I wouldn't even think of it with that much lift. You'll not be able to get adequate bedrail-to-overhang clearance and towing the trailer out of level that much will put a lot of stress on the trailer suspension system.

The early 303s (before the 2" suspension lift) had the overhang at 59" from the ground when level. Subtract 6" from that for bed rail clearance and the difference between your bed rails and 53" is how much out of level you would be without serious trailer suspension modifications (to any 5th wheel trailer in this size range). At that much angle, I don't think you would even clear the tailgate with 6" at the hitch.
