Maybe not a storage idea. I cut the panel on the side of the wet bay with a band saw and hinged it for easy access (just in case of leaks).

    Nice Traveldawg

I was wondering what the 9 drawer Snap-on toolbox would look like in the front storage compartment.

    Thanks for sharing. KEN

Some nice stuff in here. I read through the entire thread to make sure I did not miss anything before posting myself.

I have added the Valterra hose holder which matches the one that came on my Solitude. I now have 2, one at each sewage hook-up and keep 2 lengths of hose in each.

I also installed a Morryde cord reel for the shore line as well as a holder for gloves and a paper towel roll. For the EMS, I bought a boxed 50-amp receptacle at Home Depot and just mounted it on the wall (not wired). I just plug my EMS into that to store it in the basement for travel.

Now, with the preamble out of the way, my big project was installing the DeWalt ToughSystem racks and boxes in my pass through. With some modification to the diagonal floating wall, I was able to get 2 racks side by side and a ton of storage space in the boxes. To do this, I reinforced the walls so they could take weight and also relocated my ATS (for the generator) and pump to allow for moving the wall.

I currently have 6 boxes on the racks, 4 +2 with both being fully populated. I bought the folding arms vs the fixed ones that came with the racks so that I can reclaim almost the entire space if I take the tools out. I was able to really compact the footprint of all tools and equipment that is now in those boxes and regain a lot of space in my passthrough!

Joe - I am building the fence post storage and in reviewing the posts am curious about the hinges you used on the post caps? Do you recall where/what hinges they are and did you do anything to best fit them so the caps close easily? Anything you would have done differently? Thanks and a very clean install on your unit.

Gary, sorry just getting back to you. . . . . they're just your standard hinge, think they were 1 1/2". Got everything from Lowes. . . . would like a better way to hold them closed. . . . .
