    2021 Solitude 310GK Basement Fridge

Installed a Fridge the In-Laws gave me in the basement of the 2021 310 Solitude. Been waiting to do this all winter. Disassemble the basement wall. Removed all the 110V, Cable, and Light connections, then I peeled back the felt cover, and cut the plywood about 14 inches from the inside wall of the camper. (I also cut the mounting angle "iron") Then I reinstalled all the connections (electrical outlet, cable, etc) and put that short wall back exactly where it was.

I put the fridge in the basement, and pushed it as far back as it would go towards the plumbing/black tank and butted it against the shortened wall. The remainder of the wall got pushed back as far as it could go (ends up maybe 6 or 8 inches or so back towards the black tank. So I cut that wall to the new length, notched the top of it for clearance to the drain pipes under the basement ceiling and fastened it to the floor with the remaining angle "iron".
I moved the water pump behind the nautilus just a few inches to gain a little more storage area. Hinged the last piece of felted plywood and it has a gate lock to the wall on the back of the nautilus.
I was happy with how it turned on. Maybe a couple hours worth of work, now I have a fridge and 2 Lectric bikes in bins along with the usual stuff in the basement.

Some pics of our basement. I made my own sliding tray. light and strong. The bottom rollers are made for sliding doors. (Lowes) Small fridge on curb side (not in pic) The PVC poles are for securing both awnings. A removable access door with a window in it and a 12v light in crawl space so I can keep an eye on things. So much fun...

First post on the forum here….

Just started reconfiguring my 397THS basement recently. I was pretty disappointed how much space they wasted behind the walls, haphazardly mounting the transfer switch and battery charger etc. So I took some queues from the Changing Lanes channel and moved the wall (transfer switch and charger too) to be square with the front wall. Added a 20x60 Morryde cargo tray and plan to add a 26x90 2 way slide as well. I also moved the Rockford head unit and vacuum higher in the bay, and installed the amp on the back of the plywood wall since I don’t care to see that amplifier, it’s nothing worth showing off 🤣. (Hindsight I wouldn’t have purchased the Rockford stage 2 audio)

I have a two water filter setup. Has anyone mounted one of these in the compartment close by the Nautilus?

Search the posts for ones started by me. I have a couple that address this exact topic.

Since I have a Reflection 315RLTS, which is a travel trailer, I don't have as much space to play with as those of you with fifth wheels. I have a dual filter setup feeding a water softener. That won't fit in the pass-thru compartment, so it has been riding in a large tub in the front of the pickup bed. Hoses went to the rear. That setup has worked fairly well for the past 10 months or so, but not being able to fill when Jo Ann was off shopping was a bit of a pain, so this week I bought a large tub from Lowe's that is big enough to take all of that water stuff and a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" Styrofoam insulation. A few hours of cutting and the new tub full of plumbing stuff is mounted on the new rack on the tail end of the trailer. Still not done tweaking it, but all of the water stuff is in that new tub.

I just began using "LuBanSir" storage straps and testify they work well and inexpensive. Yeah, odd name but can be used for garden hose, electric cable of all sorts. A 17" strap will mangage a 50amp cable 30ft long!

I found out I had the same issue with my 296rdts trailer. I installed a second sewer hose holder beside the factory installed one. This freed up some space for a container with my electric and water stuff. My longer electric cord and water hoses will go in the back of the truck.
