What plastic mechanism are you using to hold your table? Thanks.

Can you provide more information about the "modified version of underbelly storage"?

I'm guessing he used this ... the modification being that he cut the unit apart and mounted the tubs side-by-side.

Time to resurrect an old thread. I used hinges on my 399 to make a quick access to the water pump and that area. My 311 has 1/4 luaun board, not a piece of plywood so the hinge idea wouldn't work. I ended up making studs and used wingnuts to at least make it tool free access back there. I cut the panel to give me some extra storage space and flexibility with access. I still need a small trim piece for the overlap, but its functional for now. Click image for larger version.

How are you determining what is behind what you are screwing into? I am seeing a ton of great ideas, but you cant see behind every wall to see what you might hit. Just drill and pray? LOL

    Thanks for the help.

The wall between the front storage and pass-through storage is not hollow. It is 1/2 OSB. You can check both sides to see if you would hit anything, but I stick with 1/2 inch screws or 3/4 inch if I am screwing in something a little thicker. Keep in mind that behind the section near the doors is steel from the propane storage area. As for the pass through carpeted wall on the other side - it is pretty easy to remove with only a few screws. I suggest you mark where the screws are located with some chalk or some sticky tape or you may never find the hole again. The board is about 1/4 inch thick.

A quick question. Is it ok to put screws and hooks into the aluminum studs to hang wires, hoses etc?
    Thanks

I don't know if it "ok", but I did with my Solitude. No obvious cracks growing after 2 years.

I used "C" clamps to mount things to the studs in the pass-thru's. The clamp creates a place to tie things or loop thru. KEN
