Jerry - the aft wall of the pass through has a couple of full wall panels that can be removed with a few screws to access the plumbing and furnace area. It is good to know how to get to this area because this is where a lot of "issues" occur . You will need a #2 square drive / red handle / Robertson screw driver to remove the screws easily.

Effectively yes. One of the few places for the air to escape is above that area.

Physically it is behind and to the rear about in the middle of that area behind the storage wall.

Has anyone mentioned this to Grand Design? I think they would be interested in this recurring problem, but I don't believe they monitor this part of the forum.

Is this HAVC connection mentioned here directly behind the Nautilis system?
The quality control on GD has my concerns now too many little things going wrong.
Good news! Just went to the dealer and checked mine. It's up solid as a rock against the sheet metal, no separation and no problems. Although I felt for sheet metal screws and did not feel any. Peace of mind though. I'll put some screws in on a later date.

Someone on another post mentioned that you might be able to remove one of the hutch drawers and be able to see into the basement area. I haven't tried it yet since I already had the basement side panel off for something else. But yea as others have said it's not a bad idea to remove the panel and double check that there are not other loose items, fitting or connections.

Based on these images, you'll need to remove all 3. Note the wallboard restricts the view. Second image is from the middle drawer...

I had my 337 in for some minor issues and asked to check underneath because bedroom heat register was weak.

I had the tech send me the picture he took for warranty claim.

This is what was found. Look familiar?

He reattached with a few short screws and retaped.

    Jerry,

Sure does! We both had warm basements!

Appears this is yet another one of those items to check...
