Need Idea for Sewer Drain Hose Storage.

Just brought home our new camper and thinking about the best place to store the drain hose. In my last camper I would stuff it in the back bumper but always had trouble with the end caps not staying put, (however I finally drilled holes and inserted pins to keep them on). On this camper I would like to use pvc pipe with screw on ends to store my drain hose.

I would like to hear if others have done this and where and how they mounted pvc pipe.

I put a pvc pipe along the bed of the pick up truck to store the hose. that way I don't have to get down on my knees to retrieve it

Simple and easy. I am always over thinking it, I like your idea.

I used a 5" plastic fence post cover. There are end caps that fit it. Then I used a locking hook and eye to attach the end caps. Cheap, easy, durable.

I agree with what D2Reid did with the fence posts. Look at the pictures on the first post in this thread. Paul did the same thing.

Good idea. Did you mount this to the camper anywhere?

I just added a 3rd Vinyl Post Cover specifically to carry my sewer hoses. My 337 came with the short tube which worked fine for 1 hose but I carry 2 Rhino hoses just in case I have a long run and I had to keep the extension in a trash bag, Yuck!. So I finally added the 3rd tube right up next to the sewer drain. So convenient, clean and as an added benefit, it holds up the belly droop
