If I was in the market, I would be tempted to buy two champion 2800 continuous watt inverter generators and the champion 50 amp rv plug parallel kit for around $1500.00, this combination I think this would be more than adequate to run 2 AC 's while dry camping.

The 3100 peak model might....just might be able to start and run your 15K AC unit. I bought the 3400 watt Champion with remote start and it will run my AC, I hooked it up at my house and tested it. I found the 3400 watt Champion on sale shipped to my house for $875 just before Christmas.

Will (2) 2000 watt generators run a 15,000 AC Unit and all appliances simultaneously? I have an Imagine 2500rl and trying to figure out what size generator is needed to run everything.

The 2500RL has a 30 amp electrical service as input so you can't run any more than 30 amps. A little math here.....Watts = Volts x Amps so if you have 30 amps of load at 120 volts your watts would be (30 x120) = 3600 watts. That's the MOST you could draw based on the capacity of your service. 2 2000 watt generators would give you 4000 watts capacity.....more than your 2500RL is rated for. Champion makes a 3500 watt unit that is right at the capacity of your 2500RL. It would be more economical to buy one generator than 2. But that 3500 watt generator will weigh more than one 2000 watt generator so there are trade offs in cost, convenience and your back.

Back to your original question.....2 2000 watt generators would run all that your 2500RL is rated to run and a little more.

Thank you! This was very helpful. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews and decided on the 3100 Watt RV Ready with remote start.

Your rv can draw up to 3600 watts, the generator you have settled on is rated at 3100 watts, is this rating continuous or peak?

With 2800 continous watt generator, you can adequately run your A/C, iffy on running A/C, coffee pot, microwave, and blow dryer at once .
    Good luck!!
