campground recommendations

Beginning of June we will be going to Hershey Pa, and then to the Pocono's. Just my wife and I,no kids. Wondering if anyone has any campgrounds they went to and would recommend?

I have stayed at the Jonestown KOA. It is kind of close to the highway but its a nice campground and the staff is great. Pretty close to Hershey. Campground is full a lot so it is best to make reservations if you are interested in staying there.
Also there is a creek behind the campground where you can tube. Its kind of nice.

Ive heard the Hershey campground is nice, but if the park isnt open it probably isnt worth it. Ive stayed at Harrisburg East a few times; i think its about 15 or so minutes from Hershey. We really like that place, it has full hook-ups, friendly staff, laundry, a small playground.

Here are two campgrounds we used. Although Country Acres is a little south of Hershey it is a great location for exploring the area. Otter Lake Campground is a beautiful and very well maintained campground in the Pocono's.

We've been to the Hershey RV show several times. We have always used the Hershey Park. We stayed in the lower section that has the full hookup sites. Being able to catch the free shuttle over to the park was very easy. Reservations recommended.

We also enjoyed Jonestown KOA when visiting Hershey and Delaware Gap/Pocono Mountain KOA for the Poconos.

Hershey Camping Resort has been a nice place to stay. Get a full hookup near the main road coming in. Back of the campground has a set of Freight line tracks.
