Wood used for cabinets 337

Does anyone know the wood species used in the medicine cabinets on the 2015 337's. I want to add some small shelves to the outside of right side of the cabinet for small every day used bottles. Looks like a pecan but I doubt that they used something that uncommon. I know it isn't oak or pine. Thanks

It's probably either ash or birch

I'll bet if you call customer service they'll get the answer for you. I'm curious too.

I think it's likely maple.... like most of the hardwood cabinet doors, fascias etc.
It's locally sourced from Canada, a nice hardwood and not very expensive.

What you really need is a can of the stain/finish they use to match their color accurately.
Then no matter what white hardwood you have access to, it will look indistinguishable.
