On my way back to storage facility to do some more measuring. I knew it was to good to be true. I probably have the wrong plate.

Well Dan, Just got back from more measuring and as you might have suspected I believe I have the 33711 and should have the 33704. Called my dealer and they said they would look into it. Didn't sound to encouraging. Especially since I bought a Grand Design from them and 1 week later they were sold to Camping World and GD pulled the line from them. Looks like a $140.00 problem for me. Looks like I spoke to soon in my earlier post.

Sorry guys. Just saw these posts. Sounds like you got it Rick. Let me know if you need more pics or anything. I actually just took my Mor Ryde pin pox off my old camper today and put the original 1621 with this capture plate back on. (Keeping my Mor Ryde for my new Reflection [emoji6]). So I can get some better info should you need it.

My capture plate is the same one Dan has on his 303. When I bought my 303 I asked them to order the proper capture plate before I drove the 150 miles to pick up my trailer. They assured me they had and I drove the 150 miles to pick up my trailer, when I got there they had one that was sticking out the front by about 4 inches not even flat to the pin box, just kind of jammed on the pin. They had to bring me my trailer after they ordered the correct one. I was not a happy camper and have not been back.

    Hello,
We have a Pullrite Hitch with a capture plate. the plate is held on with a hex pin and lock nut from underneath. the hex bold is tightened to the hitch pin and then a locking nut to hold in place. In the last two weeks when unhitching the capture plate has somehow loosens and just falls into the bed of the truck when unhitching. I hope that makes sense. Has anyone had this happen? I tighten the hex bolt and locking bolt up tight. It not a bit deal till I get home in a week or so. The first time was unnerving when it fell and hit the truck bed. Any help or info is appreciated.

Gerry--not heard of this before......possibly you could post some pictures and note what plate # you have. Suggest calling Pullrite customer service as well.

I have a similar setup. The capture plate is held in place by the by the hex pin. Some installations use a white piece of plastic between the nut and the king pin. Check to make sure that the white piece of plastic is still there. If the plastic piece is missing then your hex nut just needs to be tighten up. I don't use the plastic piece any more because it kept falling out. I have several thousand miles on the trailer without the plastic part without any problems.
