    Pull Rite Superglide Capture Plate

Good Morning all. Have a question about the capture plate that I needed to purchase for my hitch. I asked my dealer for a model specific capture plate and not the universal one. (Not sure why, just suspected it would fit better). When I picked the unit up the one installed appeared to long and appeared only to be secured with a stud in the front with a nylon spacer type bushing. Haven't had a problem but sure looks hinky. Does anyone have a picture they would share of their model specific capture plate? We have a 2017 303RLS. Thanks in advance.

Rick--not a real good picture of our entire capture plate but maybe this will help:

Good morning Rick. Yes, that's the set-up for the 1621 pin box. I ran with it for 3 years. Not a single issue. As long as you have the set bolt tight to the plastic spacer its fine. I switched to the Mor Ryde pin box and got the proper capture plate for it. That one actually bolts in. Thats due to the design of the Mor-Ryde. But you're fine as is. Mine looked just like Dan's pic.

Thanks Dan & Jason. Unfortunately I will have to go over to the storage facility today & snap a picture. I have the same capture plate but the stud does not come all the way through the plate and the jam nut is on the inside. I'll post a picture in a couple of hours and maybe you could comment.
    Thanks

Seeing the picture posted by Big Blue where the jam nut is inside the capture plate and the picture I posted of ours with the nut on the outside, it seems according to the Pullrite site attached: http://www.pullrite.com/sites/defaul...6010-20-11.pdf that Big Blue's is correctly installed. Ours (dealer installed) works fine it seems, but when we get it out of storage, I will change the jam nut to the inside.

Mine and Big Blue's look significantly different. Stud lengths and plate location further forward on Big Blue's

Rick--yours appears different than Jason's or ours. Both Jason and ours have the "threaded stud bolt" protruding out the front nearly the same dimension and yours not at all or barely leaving no or little room for future adjustment as the nylon block wears. I wonder if you have the #331711 (other maybe ?) Capture Plate installed.....is there a number on it somewhere and/or in your documents? See attached from Pullrite: http://www.pullrite.com/sites/defaul...it%20Chart.pdf

I do not have any information on which one we have (maybe Jason does) but I suspect it is the 331704.

Well looking at the link Dan posted, I guess mine is installed correctly. Usually I'm the one on the wrong end. Not sure how much difference it makes but I'd hate to see an issue for anyone caused by an incorrectly installed capture plate.

Thanks again guys. Once again this forum is the greatest.
