    I have a 2016 dodge ram 1500 with a 3 L diesel. I tow a 2800BH Imagine. My high mileage is 13 mph and with a head wind at 9 mph.

This past week, I made the run from my home to MorRyde, Elkhart, IN. Most of the drive, being on the Ohio Turnpike, which is relatively flat. Two years ago when I made the run, I got 12 to 13 mpg. This same run I got around 8 mpg. The only difference was on this drive, I was driving into a 30 to 35 mph. headwind.

My 2008 F250 PSD averages about 11 towing our 310GK on flat interstates. I average about 60 when towing. With a head wind or significant climbing the mileage drops to 8 or 9 mpg.

Just purchased a 2017 Imagine 2800 BH. First trip to Yellowstone (500 round trip) averaged 8 mpg with 2008 Toyota Tundra 5.7, 4x4. Took my Jayco 28' travel trailer to Alaska two years ago and averaged 10 mpg. (Someone told me it was due to the lack of Ethanol in the gas up north.)

We've been on three short trips totaling about 400 miles- all in Wisconsin, relatively flat roads. Generally driving at 60-65 MPH. Wind seems to have a big impact. Getting 9 to 13 MPG depending on wind direction. I've been told the diesel engine doesn't really hit its stride until it has 20K miles on it. (at 4K now)

Making a 4500 mile round trip to Yosemite in August. Will see what it does against the prevailing winds and Rockies.

Got 10.8 on recent 500 mile trip with 20-30 mph winds. Kept it below 65mph.

Interesting. I wonder if having smaller gears gives you the mpg advantage on the highway because we have almost the same truck, but my 3.55s get me about 7.5 at 63 mph...

We just did our first rather lengthy trip with our new rig. A round trip of 495 miles from Tucson to Big Lake Arizona which sits at 9,000 feet elevation. There were several up and down grades of 7-8% for many miles. Pulling a 2017 297RSTS with a 2016 F350 with a 6.7L diesel and a 14 foot aluminum boat over the truck. Average MPG was 9.9

We get about 11.5mpg going from central Oregon to Palm Springs and back (about 950 miles each way) at around 63mph. One to two re-gens each way. It gets above 13mpg prior to the re-gens.
