New 350m Water Heater Bypass Valve (March 2017)
We just picked up on new 2017 Momentum 350m and took it out for our shake down cruise this weekend. I had to re-winterize by blowing it dry b/c I could not figure out where the water heater bypass valve was on the unit. Here is an image of the trailer and a snapshot (from the web) of the type of water valve controller the unit has. I was wondering if the RED valve might be the water heater bypass.
The guy that walked us through the trailer thought i had to unscrew the wall panel in the "basement" storage area to get to the water heater bypass valve but that just did not seem to make sense to me, and he just did not know. I will ask someone else at the dealer again.
BTW, the unit is great. We used it all weekend in the cold and rain and the only issue we found is one of our Max Air rain sensing fans (the one in the kitchen) does not seem to sense that rain or wet is present (I dropped it back at the dealership so they could fix that).
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I agree. The individual at the dealer who did our walkthru thought it was not one of those valves and instead suggested I had to unscrew the panel to get behind those switches to get to the hot water heater bypass (but that just did not make sense to me). I should have pushed him more on it and got distracted by other items as we went through the trailer. When I pick it up after my fairly minor repair (probably later this week) I will take a picture with better resolution and let you know what I find out. I suspect that it may be the RED valve that bypasses the water heater, but that may just be hopeful thinking.

On my model, there is a "winterize" mode, that would bypass the water heater. You shouldn't have to go behind the convenience center.

On the upper right hand corner of your Nautilus system is a diagram for setting the switches to winterize. If you set them accordingly, the water heater will be bypassed.

There has been quite a bit of discussion on this topic in the past. Here is a thread that might help you sort things out:

That totally answered my question. The Nautilius P1 user manual is linked on the manufacturers site here: http://www.bandbmolders.com/files/User_Instructions.pdf
Setting the system to winterize DOES bypass the water heater.
Interestingly, I DID NOT get this user manual in the packet of information with my new 350m: a copy of that would have definitely been handy.
