Solera Awning Arms not staying locked.
The Solera awning arms do not seem to hold position. Is there an adjustment to get them to hold position?

Following, too. Had never really adjusted them until awning was out in light rain. Wanted to drop one side to let rain run off. Pushed it back up later and it wouldn't stay. And would drop every time right when you start putting the awning out. Cranked it tight with socket and wrench and that took a LOT of effort. And tightened up other side, too, just in case. Is holding up now, but does seem like a bit of a wanky design that it won't stay up...

I've not had an issue in the 3 1/2 years that we've had the unit...takes some effort to pull it down. I don't think that its anything more than a friction joint that may require tightening. You may want to check with LCI customer service.

I just took a factory tour on the Imagine line on Monday, Mar 27. They were making the 2500RL at the time. On this run of 2500's they are now installing Dometic awnings instead of Solera. They also have a center support when retracted. They said too many complaints on the Solera. I don't know if the change is 2500RL specific or if they are going to incorporate this change on other floorplans.

I had a Dometic before. I wasnt a particular fan when it got stuck in the open position. Solera looks much easier to retract than the Dometic.
