Hello, taking delivery of a F350 diesel soon and would like recommendations for iphone apps, etc., to plan ahead for suitable stations. Thanks

Gas Buddy is the way to go. We used it on our last CA to Texas trip. I used it to plan my stops from day to day.

Does Gas Buddy find RV friendly stations?

it's getting harder and harder to find somewhere that has adequate room for a truck pulling a 40 foot trailer to get in and out of easily.

I don't think there are RV settings but from the app you can set the map default to google maps. When you click on the map you are able to see the location and zoom in and see an areal view of the gas station. On the major interstates the gas stations are usually pretty easy to get in & out of. Depending on the situation we'll unhook at the RV park and I'll run out and gas up the night before or in the AM.

Sheetz and BP are pretty good about putting the diesel pump on the ends of the pump row, which (usually) makes access a bit easier.

I exit and I exit truck apps along with gas buddy and all stays will keep your co pilot busy.. The i exit apps tell you what is coming on the next exits and I find useful. The truck specific one gives truck stop information.

Another good option to Gas Buddy is Trucker Path. It has excellent filters for finding stations by name (e.g. Loves, Flying J, etc) and a Trip Planner feature that shows where they are along the way, miles to get there, features there like scales, bulk DEF, overnight parking and more.
