Virginia Beach

So excited. We got our Reflection 303RLS on the Friday before Thanksgiving. We are taking it to the Holiday Travl Park in Virginia Beach tomorrow for a couple of nights on our maiden voyage. Closest park to home, and we cannot put camper in driveway due to the slope/crown in street. Hope to get it all set up and settled with the 'stuff' from our previous 5er, then will winterize until off to Florida later in the basketball season. We won't be doing any ham radio antenna mods until after we have stayed in it for a couple of weeks to see what feels like the best setup.

Will try to get some pictures and post them when we return. We just gave our Golden Retriever a bath, so maybe she will pose for us.

Where are you thinking of putting the ham antenna? Will you mount it or will it be portable?

Have a wonderful trip. Virginia Beach is a great place to camp. I just got back from a week in Williamsburg Va and already wish I was back there. I am sure you will have a great time in your new Reflection.

Thanks. We are staying just 20 minutes from home to check out the rig and get supplies that stay in the rig loaded. I will be spending time cutting shelf liner.

Portable antennas will probably be the same as our old rig - PVC on the ladder to hold a Jpole for 2 meters and to hold a 33 ft fiberglass push up pole holding up a wire with a tuner for HF. Question is where to run coax outside to inside.
