This is my 4th trek into Yosemite this year 1st one with Reflection. It's been a great snow and waterfall year thus far, as it warms up this month it's only going to get better. There are waterfalls that I haven't seen for years.

Thanks for the pictures. Yosemite is such a beautiful place.

My first trip there was as a kid in the early 60's. We stayed in the park in an old 2 story motel type rooms. The park was very peaceful back then. In the late 70's a girlfriend and I road my first Harley down to Yosemite from Oregon in mid Sept and stayed in Tuolumne Meadows in one of the rental wall tent. We had dinner in the meadows lodge sitting family style with people from all around the world. The next morning we idled down to the valley on the motorcycle without seeing another car, all the way completely enjoying the scenery. In the early 90's my wife and I did a 2 night backpack trip in the higher backcountry. We might have seen 4 or 5 other couples during the 3 days of hiking.

I was in Tuolumne Meadows last June. The pictures below are of Dog Lake and the top of Lembert dome (9000 ft) both were relatively easy hikes.

Yosemite is 2 1/2 hours away, I am there often. The valley and Tuolumne Meadows offer 360 views, thus far for me only Yellowstone is on par from a grandeur perspective.
