    Converter fuses

HI on my new imagine trailer 2600 rb I reversed the battery polarity. Where exactly is my converter in line fuses located. I am a newbie and I made my first booboo.

The fuses should be right on the converter itself. Don't know where the converter is on your particular model.

I am not sure where my converter is located. I don't see it inside the front storage compartment. The inline fuses are suppose to be attached to the converter wires. The operator book does not seem to be any help in indicating where it is located.

Can't tell you where the converter is on your trailer (it is likely to be in behind your main fuse panel) . . . but these are the two fuses that you are looking for.

Look behind the panels in the trunk, that's where mine is.

Also, I'm no newbie but I did the same thing last year. Just remember - red is hot, black is not.

Converter is next to dog food bowl drawer. Open the fuse panel (simple push near top of door). Take out the (2) screws holding that whole door/cover on. In lower right, you will see (2) 40amp blade fuses. One of the is the one you seek. NOTE: If you do not have RED plug/switch unit turned ON (in basement), you will only supply power to marker and brake lights. If that plug/switch is ON then the battery is connected to converter. Now the important question, did you have electric cable plugged into rear of trailer ??? Thats the 30amp cable.

You can look HERE for more info. Thats the unit/model that I have (see signature below).

Boy O Boy that dealer pushed Chiliman 85131 out the door quick. My dealer had overnight parking with hookup so we could push/pull all the stuff, what ever we found that didn't work the way we thought it should the dealer/service fixed or explained how it should work the next day.

For the GD imagine 2600RB, the converter is mounted behind the breaker panel. The breaker panel is found behind the door on the left side nearest the floor below the TV.

If not mistaken, they have put the reverse polarity fuse in the breaker panel. If not there, then unscrew the panel and look on the right hand side.

Got this from a few pictures I saw. Good luck.

Note: What is the amperage rating on the fuse or fuses. I will need to order a spare....just in case.

I am picking up my 2600 this Friday so I am only going by my notes taken over the last year.

Thanks for your input. I have looked and don't see it behind the electrical panel. This is a 2021 Imagine xls 22mle, so maybe it is different.
